You asked and we listened. Today we will review the Ahnu Women's Yoga Flex.
Let’s see why it’s such a popular product.
The Ahnu Women's Yoga Flex are the perfect pair of shoes for all the yoga-lovers out there. If this is you, and you also happen to like to hike or otherwise be on the move, you need these.
The Ahnu Women's Yoga Flex are rock climbing shoes are designed for traction as well as comfort. They have a Rubber sole that's designed to let you comfortably hike, climb and walk in water. The Air Mesh upper and the Spider Rubber sole gives you almost a Spidey-like grip and makes it easy to stay on your feet.
This shoe sort of looks like a tiny sneaker with a funny looking rubber toe cap. It's not. These shoes are primarily designed to be used for yoga, but please use your common sense and don't wear them into the gym. These are for casual wear, and they are specifically designed for traction that will help remind you to move one foot forward with each step.
They've got a little stiff upper, a well-padded tongue, and the outsole and rubber toe cap are rubberized for traction.
The true standout feature of this shoe is the upper. The Air Mesh upper provides breathability and helps keep your feet cool and dry, without overheating or getting clammy. There's also padded knitted inserts for comfort. The one drawback, however, is that the mesh is not very durable. Unfortunately, any mesh shoe with a rubber sole is going to get a significant amount of wear and tear. The type of shoe I recommend is the Merrell Women's Moab 2.
The Ahnu Women's Yoga Flex weighs just a few ounces and is comfortable to wear with or without socks. The rubber sole gives your foot the grip you need when you need it.
If you are inclined to wear socks, you probably want a wider toe box to accommodate socks, in which case the Ahnu Women's Yoga Flex is fine. However, they're really made to be worn with or without socks, so if you wear them with socks your toes might get a little cold. They are contoured to fit well without socks, but they are not made for hotter weather use, and you probably don't want to wear them after a hot day.
They've got a gusseted tongue that keeps your foot from sliding into the front and makes putting them on and taking them off easier.
