Pros:

  • Stable base.
  • Sturdy construction.
  • Great value for the price.
  • Water resistant, durable water repellant, and easy cleanup.
  • Very mild odor; it gets better as time progresses.
  • The mat grips the place where it is placed and is resistant to sliding, especially if place on a stable floor.

Cons:

  • Somewhat heavy (17 lbs).
  • A bit hard to roll up and carry.
  • The mat is a bit coarse and requires the use of a towel to prevent sweating and slippage of ointments (prevent spider veins, varicose, ingrown hairs).

The Incline Fit Exercise Mat is one of those exercise mats you just stare at when you see it in the store. The 1-inch thickness is pretty thick and should provide a fair amount of comfort when working out, while also alleviating some of the stress on vulnerable areas during workouts. The non-slip material combined with the three-sided pattern is designed to prevent you from slipping when you get your heart rate up.

The durability claims seem to be true, though there have not been any reports for me to draw a conclusion on them. All the components of the mat seem to work well with each other and seem very well made.

The mat has incredibly anti-microbial properties, allowing the mat to be easily cleaned and kept smelling good. Personally I think that's pretty sexy.

The mat does need to be cleaned with soap and water and then dried. The straps and handles are anti-slip which is good, but the straps do slip a little under your weight during exercises. Not much, but still.
