Pros:

  • Provides excellent grip
  • Improves posture
  • Very lightweight
  • Does not compromise grip even after a few months of heavy usage
  • Keeps you from slipping
  • Prevents back pain
  • No residues

Cons:

  • It might smell new
  • In some cases it absorbs the sweat
  • Can get a bit slippery when working with excess sweat and above the recommended temperatures in Bikram yoga.

I really like IUGA Pro because it's the ultimate in versatility. By having a non-slip top layer, it really excels at doing everything – even hot yoga! And thanks to its high-quality Eco-friendly and SGS Certified Rubber, you won't have to worry about your mat falling apart or stinking.

The mat has 100% non-grip top-layer material and the bottom layer is 5mm in thickness. With its extraordinary craftsmanship, it's a mat that's easy to roll up and carry. And IUGA Pro's water-bottle holder is genius for a mat because it can take a wide variety of water bottles, making carrying a bottle on the go a lot easier. The matt doesn't get easily slippery either, which can be a problem for hot yoga classes.

The only issue I've had with the mat is that it's extremely slick on the bottom. This might be a problem if you have sweaty feet as well. But overall, the mat is fantastic and I really like the feel of it for hot yoga. There are nicer mats on the market, but none that have the same level of functionality as IUGA Pro.
