The Manduka eKO Yoga Mat is pretty unique in the general mat market because of the innovative design of the catch grip surrounding the mat. Having a mat with a naturally grippe surface for traction makes the difference between a good 'goer' and an epic fail.

The mat is made from natural tree rubber that is processed without the use of chemicals or dyes to vegan standards. This means the mat is completely eco-friendly and doesn't have that plastic-y feel that some other mats have.

The mat itself is firm enough to provide adequate support, but not so stiff that it makes for a challenging practice.

I really like the Manduka Echo Mats because they are sturdy and provide terrific support. The grippe surface really comes in handy as do the open air sides for added cushioning.

Anyone can pick one up and use it without a lot of hassle, which is perfect for an on-the-go practitioners. The mat is very durable and can hold up to your sturdiest practices.

My mom and I both have this mat and we each took turns using it daily. I think anyone would really like this mat.
