The Manduka PRO Yoga Mat is an awesome all-purpose yoga mat. It has everything you could possibly need, and more!

It is made with a very high-density, closed-cell surface that keeps sweat from seeping into the mat cushion and staying on the surface. Personally, I hate the sticking feeling of sweat on my yoga mat. This mat has such a high performance that it helps prevent it from being a problem, which takes a lot of stress off during your asana practice.

The cushioning and grip are awesome. The grip helps you feel secure during your asana practice and the extra cushioning is great for all-day use in yoga or in the gym.

The thing that I like the most about this mat is the lifetime warranty. You can rest assured that if there's ever a manufacturing defect, you will be offered a replacement or will receive a full refund, no questions asked. This is so amazing because if you are as serious about your mat practice as I am, you know that mat manufacturers can't guarantee against wear or tear. This lifetime warranty is therefore unheard of, and is exactly why I use this mat.

I personally balance my mat, which is the best way to extend the life of your mat. It also helps reduce the moisture on the mat that causes the stickiness. Balancing your mat should be the first thing anyone does after they get their mat. It's also not super-complicated at all. You are only balancing a 1-inch circle around your mat!

You should then leave your mat wrapped in plastic after each use and when you aren't using it. This helps preserve the mat for as long as possible. When it starts to get thin and you know it's wearing down, you can replace your mat. That way you will never buy a disposable mat that will only be there for the short time you use it.

I hope one day you will be able to get a wholesale discount like I do. I buy several 6mm, black yogamats at a time to help me extend the life of my mat because it is so expensive, but that will never happen. The mat I am using now is one of the first that I bought, and I will continue to use it until it wears out, and then I will replace it with the same one.
