Pros:

  • EcopreneTM material
  • Free carrying strap
  • Manufacturer offers a 100% money back guarantee
  • Extra-thick
  • Heavy-duty
  • Funny odor

Cons:

  • Could be too thin and inconvenient for some users
  • Could smell weird in the beginning

The Plyopic Yoga Mat is designed for use in yoga, Pilates and fitness. I picked this because it is advertised as being sturdy and thick so it would hold up to my weight when back squats and front squats. It is not very conformable, but I was still able to find a good groove for my back. I wouldn't have wanted to use this during Scorpion Pose.

The thing I like most about the Plyopic Yoga Mat is its eco-friendly, non-GMO rubber. In fact, the company even says that the "goal of every product they leverage is to make a positive impact on the world. And while buying a yoga mat alone won't fix the world, it's a small step in the right direction."

The only downside that I found was that it came with a strong chemical smell. It was also really sticky to walk on. After about a week I could still scoop up the mat in the morning and it would leave sticky residue on my feet.
