The YOGO Ultralight Travel Yoga Mat is the ultimate for portability. The lightweight design can be folded down to a tiny rectangle that fits easily in a purse or backpack or slipped into your pocket for a yoga session on the go.
The top of mat is fully rubberized for better traction. It's long enough to accommodate the majority of the poses, and it's strong enough to provide you with the traction you need on slippery surfaces, should you want to use it in a studio without a sticky mat. It's better for hot yoga than for Bikram variations, though.
This is a very durable mat with a composition that is entirely free of toxic materials and petroleum products. It is made of high-tensile natural rubber that comes from an eco-friendly plantation. There's a small hole in the mat that allows you to attach an included strap so you can keep your mat near to hand when you need to take it somewhere.
It fits nicely in a gym bag, an overnight bag or a purse. You can fold it up, but be sure you realize that the plastic handle on it is a little flimsy and very easy to break, so fold your mat together with it still attached first and then just let go. This way, you protect the handle.
A good yoga mat is very expensive, but I consider this one of the best for the price. The eco-friendly details of this produce it feel like a winner.
